Public Policy Presentations
|
Today (April 22, 2016) we were delighted to have as our guests State Senator Norman Sanderson, Representative Michael Speciale, Mr. Carr Ipock and Mr. David Hale. They came today in order to hear presentations that the students had been working on. The students presented problems that impacted them and also offered solutions to the problems. They did an amazing job and I wanted the students and parents to be able to see their wonderful presentations. They are available at the following web addresses. Please take a moment and see what these awesome students have been doing in class.

The house budget that was passed in the house today contains over $27,000,000 for Driver's education. The money will be funded according to the bill through the motor vehicles registration late fee. This will guarantee the continuation of funds for the future. They have been heard. Good job, fourth period. Final update on the driver's education money: Driver's education was funded at the same level as the previous year. Students will pay a maximum of $65.00 for driver's education. |
